For organizing file systems, not necessarily only for knowledge management. Se puede usar para documentos, emails, etc...
Lo que mas me llama la atencion de Johnny decimals es el template para proyectos/compaƱƭas.

my personal solution

this guy mixes PARA folder structure with Johnny Decimals numbering.

Zettlekasten

Is a flat folder structure.
is a good way to avoid orphan notes, bc each note must be places somewhere in an existing chain. A lot of personal systems I've seen online use daily notes with Zettlekasten.
I think this approach is particularly useful for research and studying.
Zettlekasten can be combined with daily notes first approach of content based approach. and works as like a separate view of the same notes.

Best videos I have found on the subject

daily notes first approach: nope
very useful for meetings tho...

content first approach (atomic):
topic first approach: seems like a logical evolution of the content based approach.

action first approach / context first: everything gets organized based in the context you will most likely use it next.
strong advocate for this is the PARA and ACCESS method, which is what I have on my vault.

This guy's channel is a gold mine for PKMS. Very visual, breaks down concepts very well, easy to understand.
also goes through books:
